Job Title: Cook Department: F&B Kitchen

Reports to: Sous Chef Effective Date: April 2026

Job Summary: North Ridge Country Club is a private club providing its members with prestigious service through a variety of dining outlets on our campus. As a line cook you will be responsible for preparing meals, as well as ensuring food quality and proper storage while always maintaining a clean workstation. This role must be familiar with a commercial kitchen and food preparation. The ideal candidate is customer service oriented, has a positive attitude and works effectively with the team.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

None

Duties/Responsibilities:

Setting up and sanitizing workstations.
Following prep lists created by chefs.
Grilling, cooking, and frying foods.
Grilling and garnishing hamburgers and other meats.
Performing simple food preparation tasks, such as slicing up meats, fruits, and vegetables.
Completing orders, plating the food, and processing in a timely manner.
Ensuring all food items are properly stored and easily accessible.
Rotating food and stamping the time and date on the food in the coolers.
Cleaning food preparation equipment and areas.

Required Skills/Abilities:

The ability to multi-task and work quickly and efficiently.

Strong communication, teamworking, and customer service skills.

Manual dexterity and a good sense of taste.

Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, nights, and holidays.

Ability to work in a stressful, fast-paced environment.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent.

On-the-job training in food preparation and sanitation techniques.

Previous experience

Physical Requirements:

Standing for long periods of time

Walking around the club campus

Must be able to lift 35lbs
