Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Food and Beverage supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our food service establishment during draft day events. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of food preparation, restaurant management, and customer service. This role involves supervising staff, managing inventory, ensuring food safety standards, and delivering exceptional guest experiences in a fast-paced environment. The Draft Day Supervisor will play a key role in maintaining operational excellence and fostering a positive team atmosphere.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of food preparation, ensuring quality and consistency in line with company standards.
- Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing and cash handling.
- Supervise kitchen and front-of-house staff, including training, scheduling, and performance management.
- Maintain inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste.
- Ensure adherence to food safety regulations and sanitation standards across all areas of operation.
- Coordinate with culinary teams to ensure timely food production and service during busy draft day periods.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to uphold high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Assist with budgeting, cost control, and operational planning to optimize restaurant performance.
- Lead staff training sessions focused on food handling, safety protocols, and service excellence.
- Support restaurant management in shift management, staff interviewing, and overall restaurant operations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food service management or hospitality management roles, preferably within casual dining or quick service environments.
- Strong background in food preparation, kitchen management, and supervising teams in fast-paced settings.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; cash handling experience required.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train and develop staff effectively.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices.
- Experience in inventory control, budgeting, and cost management within a restaurant setting.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on team management and conflict resolution.
- Previous experience working in hospitality or restaurant environments such as fine dining, casual dining, catering, or hotel food services is highly desirable.
- Ability to work flexible hours during draft day events including evenings and weekends as needed. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead a dedicated team in a vibrant environment while ensuring operational excellence during high-volume events.
Pay: $18.50 - $20.00 per hour
