This organization is a vertically integrated poultry producer, managing operations from feed mills and hatcheries through farms, processing, further processing, and distribution. The facility produces fresh and frozen chicken products, including breaded, marinated, and fully cooked items, serving retail, foodservice, and national customers.

Position Summary
The Production Supervisor reports to the Shift Manager and is responsible for leading day-to-day operations on an assigned further processing production line. This role ensures that production runs safely, efficiently, and in compliance with quality, food safety, and customer specifications.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with experience in further processing, par-fry, or fully cooked operations, who can drive performance while maintaining a strong safety and quality culture.
Key Responsibilities
Production & Performance

Supervise and lead a team of up to 30 hourly employees on an assigned production line

Ensure production targets are met while maintaining first-quality product standards

Maximize yields and throughput while minimizing waste

Monitor line performance and adjust staffing and processes as needed
Safety, Quality & Compliance

Ensure compliance with all company policies, food safety guidelines, GMPs, USDA, and BRC requirements

Maintain audit readiness and support customer and regulatory audits

Enforce safety rules and ensure job-specific and safety training are completed
People Leadership

Manage staffing, time and attendance, training, and corrective actions

Conduct employee coaching, performance feedback, and discipline as needed

Participate in interviews and hiring for open positions
-
Build strong working relationships across departments to achieve results
Reporting & Communication

Complete daily production and labor reports, including employee time edits
-
Communicate effectively with other departments to ensure customer specifications are met

Support continuous improvement initiatives on the assigned shift

Bilingual (English / Spanish) a plus
