We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will support the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of food quality and safety. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in restaurant management, with experience in both quick service and fine dining environments.
Duties
- Assist in managing daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
- Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality standards.
- Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies and minimizing waste.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and ensure proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Utilize POS systems such as Aloha or Micros for order processing and sales tracking.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean kitchen environment.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Proven experience in restaurant management or as an assistant manager in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food handling practices.
- Familiarity with POS systems (Aloha POS, Micros POS) is preferred.
- Strong customer service orientation with effective communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
