Responsibilities
· Assemble and rework hardware components including cables, chassis, racks, and test aids using technical documentation and drawings.
· Perform wire stripping, crimping, soldering, connector installation, and grounding as part of cable assembly.
· Interpret and work from electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and wire lists.
· Conduct continuity and certification tests; record and report test data accurately.
· Identify and troubleshoot design or workmanship-related hardware issues.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure manufacturability and reusability of hardware.
· Maintain documentation and follow established processes for fabrication and testing.
· Support cost-effective and schedule-driven execution of assignments.
· Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
Minimum Qualifications
· High school diploma or equivalent.
· Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort working with hand tools.
· Ability to read and follow complex schematics and assembly drawings.
· Effective communication skills in technical environments.
· Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
· Willingness to learn and obtain certifications (e.g., J-STD-001, IPC-A-620, ESD protection).
· Basic computer skills for data entry and system navigation.
Preferred Qualifications
· Familiarity with Agile, Velocity, or similar process tools.
· Experience in cleanroom or electrostatic discharge-sensitive environments.
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced setting.
· Flexibility to support overtime and urgent technical needs.
Work Environment
· On-site role requiring daily presence at the primary work location.
· May involve work in labs, production floors, cleanrooms, or outdoor settings.
· Occasional travel between company campuses may be required.
· Use of protective equipment may be necessary depending on the work area.
