Job Summary
As a Subway Team Member, you will be the friendly face of our restaurant, providing outstanding food service and ensuring every guest has a positive experience. You’ll be actively involved in food preparation, customer interactions, and maintaining a clean, safe environment. Responsibilities
- Prepare fresh sandwiches and salads according to company standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing and cash handling.
- Deliver excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders efficiently, and upselling menu items to enhance their experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by cleaning workstations, utensils, and dining areas regularly.
- Manage food safety protocols, including proper food handling and storage practices.
- Assist with food prep tasks like slicing ingredients, assembling sandwiches, and restocking supplies to ensure smooth operations.
- Support team members with bussing tables, managing queues, and ensuring quick service during busy periods.
Experience
- Prior experience in food preparation or food service environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Familiarity with quick service or fast-food restaurant operations is advantageous.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and order accuracy are essential.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.
