Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shift Manager to oversee daily operations in our fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service, managing staff, and maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members to achieve operational excellence. Shift managers will be required to take on a minimum of one tipped serving shift, but not limited.
Duties
- Supervise daily restaurant operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Train, develop, and manage staff, fostering a positive work environment that encourages teamwork.
- Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to ensure quality standards are met.
- Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies and minimizing waste.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and maintain financial records.
- Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient order processing.
- Ensure adherence to food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in all areas of the restaurant.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any issues or concerns promptly.
- Assist in budgeting and financial planning for the shift operations.
- Conduct interviews and participate in hiring processes for new team members.
Skills
- Proven experience in food service management or a similar role within the food industry.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food handling practices.
- Familiarity with inventory control systems and cash handling procedures.
- Excellent leadership abilities with experience in team management and staff training.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on creating a positive dining experience.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with various POS systems (Aloha POS, Micros POS) is preferred.
- Background in hospitality management or culinary experience is a plus.

Pay: $52,000.00 - $60,000.00 per hour
