Duties
- Prepare food items efficiently and accurately, following safety and sanitation standards to ensure quality.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and cash handling.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, upselling menu items, and addressing inquiries with enthusiasm.
- Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, sanitizing workstations, and managing food handling responsibilities in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Assist with inventory management, restocking supplies, and ensuring the kitchen area is organized for quick service.
- Support team members during busy hours by managing cashier duties, food preparation, and supporting overall restaurant operations.
- Uphold sanitation standards through proper food handling practices and adherence to health regulations to ensure a safe dining environment.
Requirements
- Prior experience in food preparation, quick service restaurants, or retail food industry is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key!
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours.
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and ability to upsell menu items confidently.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, sales transactions, and inventory counts.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and work in a fast-paced environment.
