Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and motivated Crew Member to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced food service environment. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering excellent customer service, maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation, and supporting daily restaurant operations. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve food items efficiently while adhering to food safety and sanitation standards
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and cash handling
- Assist customers with menu selections, upselling items, and providing exceptional customer service
- Handle cashier duties including processing transactions accurately and managing cash register operations
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, kitchen stations, and food prep zones (bussing, sanitation)
- Support food handling procedures, including proper storage, portioning, and presentation of food products
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service and customer satisfaction
- Assist with inventory management, restocking supplies, and ensuring proper food safety protocols are followed
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food preparation, food service, or retail is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and order accuracy
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends or evenings if needed
- Prior experience in quick service restaurants, cafes, grocery stores, or the food industry is advantageous
