Duties
- Prepare a variety of fresh sandwiches, salads, and other menu items following established recipes and food safety standards
- Engage with customers in a friendly, energetic manner to take orders and provide excellent service
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and transaction accuracy
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, food prep areas, and dining spaces in compliance with health regulations
- Manage food inventory levels, restock supplies, and ensure proper food handling procedures are followed
- Assist with bussing tables, cleaning dining areas, and supporting overall restaurant operations during busy hours
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food preparation or food service environments such as quick service restaurants, cafés, or grocery stores is preferred but not required
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours
- Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for smooth transactions
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices to ensure quality and compliance
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to upsell products confidently
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and order accuracy
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as bending, lifting, and cleaning effectively
