About The Sweet Shop
The Sweet Shop is a fast-growing, community-centered drink and dessert shop. We’re known for friendly service, specialty drinks, soft serve, and creating a space people love coming back to.
We’re looking for someone dependable, trainable, and confident working independently. While many of our team members are high school students, we are especially looking for someone available during school hours (starting around 1:30pm), with potential for earlier shifts as we expand.
What This Role Looks Like
This is not just a “stand behind the counter” job. Many shifts are worked independently, so you must be comfortable managing the shop on your own.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Preparing specialty drinks and soft serve accurately
- Taking and processing orders through our POS system
- Delivering warm, professional customer service
- Restocking and prepping ingredients
- Keeping the shop clean and organized
- Managing busy rushes efficiently
- Closing or opening procedures when scheduled
All shifts are picked up by team members, with a minimum expectation of at least one shift per week.

- Able to stay calm during busy periods
- Willing to be trained and take feedback well
- Food service experience preferred (but not required)
- Preference given to candidates seeking consistent hours and growth

We cannot teach reliability, initiative, or work ethic.
