Job Summary
We are looking for energetic and friendly Zaxby's Team Members to join our dynamic team. In this role, you'll be the face of our restaurant, providing excellent customer service while helping to prepare and serve delicious food in a quick service environment. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and take their orders accurately using POS systems like Aloha or Micros.
- Prepare food items following established recipes and safety standards, ensuring quality and consistency.
- Assist with food handling, sanitation, and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas.
- Support cash handling duties, including cashiering and processing transactions efficiently.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities.
- Help with food prep, bussing tables, and ensuring a clean environment for both guests and staff.
- Follow all food safety regulations and sanitation procedures to maintain a safe restaurant environment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food preparation, quick service restaurants, or retail environments is a plus but not required.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha or Micros is beneficial.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, sales, and retail math calculations.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
