We are seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Food Service Director for the Hibbing Schools. In this role, you will play a vital part in providing high-quality food service within our Food & Nutrition Department. Your responsibilities will include menu planning, staff supervision, completing Minnesota Department of Education documents. Duties
- Menu Planning.
- Staff Supervision.
- Coordinating special functions & conducts or attends scheduled in-services & meetings.
- Processing of Free & Reduced applications and related Minnesota Department of Education documents.
- Participating in recruiting, interviewing & selection of applicants.
- Maintaining Food & Nutrition payroll data.
- Maintaining staff schedules.
- Collaborate with staff to ensure efficient operation within the Food & Nutrition Department.
Experience
- Must have a high school diploma with 2 years of relevant clerical or bookkeeping experience.
- Knowledge and skills in computer operations.
- Good understanding of institutional kitchen operation &/or quantity food production desirable.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with administration, students and staff.

Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
