E&E Foods actively searching nationaly for people who want to work this summer in Alaska. Room, Board, and transportation provided. We operate two land based seafood processing plants in the remote Bristol Bay region close to Egegik and Kenai, Alaska.
We're hiring seasonal workers to offload, cut, clean, rack, and case up fresh and frozen salmon product. No previous experience necessary, simply a willingness for hard work and the overtime paid hours. When we have a lot of fish, we have a lot of work. Lot's of Overtime is expected.
Hours of Work: Hours and days of work are entirely dependent upon the number of fish run which is nearly impossible to predict. While we can't guarantee any definite number of hours, a work week can be up to seven days. A workday can run anywhere from nothing to more than sixteen hours per day. You must be ready and able to work all hours assigned. Meal periods and breaks must be taken as scheduled.
SALARY & BENEFITS:
- The starting wage is $17.91 per hour straight time and $26.86 per hour overtime.
- Round trip airfare from largest city near point of hire to plan location in Alaska.
- Free room and board
WORK ENVIRONMENT and LIVING LOCATION:
- Must be able to sustain a 16 hour per day/7 days a week work schedule for the duration of the season.
- Work from Mid-June through Mid-September.
- Housing is dormitory style, and you may share a room with up to 6 people.
- Health care options are only readily accessible in Kenai, AK.
- There is no cellphone signal and limited internet available. Communication is very limited at our remote Bristol Bay plant.
