The Downline Lead manages day – to – day operations for the production line that they are assigned to, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency targets are met. They lead teams, troubleshoot equipment, monitor performance, and enforce compliance with standards to achieve production goals and minimize defects. This position is responsible for support in the areas of production and related activities in a manner that supports the operations of production of the organization at the Fresno, CA plant.
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
Hours: 5:00 am - 5:00 pm
Schedule: Monday - Friday
(Weekend OT as needed)
Location: Fresno, CA
Work Environment: Production
Core Responsibilities:
- Manage daily production, including startup, operation, and shutdown of production line.
- Inspect products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Train, guide, and motivate team members to meet production deadlines and follow company procedures.
- Enforce Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) protocols and ensure a safe work environment.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements.
- Maintain accurate records regarding production, inventory, and, where relevant, packaging materials.
Requirements
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment.
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem solving abilities.
Required Qualifications:
- High school or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in warehousing/manufacturing of foods and beverages.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bilingual - English/Spanish preferred but not mandatory.
