Responsibilities
· Ensure proper and safe operation of equipment
· Wrap all meat in a timely manner
· Perform continuous cleaning through a shift to ensure a safe, organized, and tidy work environment
· Report to work on time and being ready to perform all duties delegated by management
· Communicate with teammates in a professional manner
· Ensure the ground is free from debris and trash to provide a safe work space
· Keep cutting tables clean and free from excessive amounts of trays and meat
· Be able to operate all equipment safely including, but not limited to: slicers, cuber, wrapper, rollstock
· Practice food safety measures
· Ensure consistent quality with packaging and labeling
· Assist Meat Cutters when needed
· Stock Back of House products including film, labels, and any additional needs as directed by management
· Keep accurate logs and be prepared to review with leadership
· Perform all other reasonable tasks at manager’s discretion
Experience
· Effective communication skills and ability to work well in a team-oriented setting
· Ability to work in a cold, fast-paced environment
· Able to lift 50-75 pounds
· Strong knowledge of food safety protocols and best practices
· Experience with meat cutting, grinding, packaging, and processing preferred
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
