Job description
Opal Foods is currently accepting applications for the position of Laundry/Cleaning Person for our Roggen, Colorado Farm location. This position is responsible for laundering all production employee clothing at the assigned facility as well as maintaining high level of cleanliness for the site#39;s offices, common areas and bathrooms while maintaining compliance with all company policies and governmental regulations. This position will also assist with other projects and duties as needed.
Position Responsibilities:
- Maintain and wash company clothing ensuring all production employees have enough clean clothes for each day
- Clean and sanitize surfaces and fixtures within all office spaces, common areas, bathrooms, showers and other high-traffic areas in the facility
- Clean/sweep and mop all floors in offices, kitchens, bathrooms, break rooms, etc., and vacuum where needed
- Track cleaning supplies and clothing inventory and communicate any needs to the Pullet Manager
- Prepare new employee lockers and uniforms by labeling, folding and ensuring proper sizing
- Maintain clothing labeling
- Other duties as assigned by Lead person or Manager
Requirements: (knowledge, experience, skills, education)
- Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time
- Must be able to bend, stoop, reach, kneel, and lift up to 10 lb.
- Demonstrated ability to operate laundry equipment and fold clothes
- Demonstrated attention to detail and organization
- Ability to write and label clothing and lockers
- Demonstrated ability to work with limited supervision
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays as scheduled
