Harborview - Food and Nutrition has an outstanding opportunity for a Food Service Worker.

WORK SCHEDULE

50% FTE, Evenings
4:30pm - 8:30pm

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Provides excellent, respectful customer service to a diverse customer base, in a medical setting
Prepare and serve food and beverages compliant with medically prescribed diet orders, including fluid, texture, electrolyte and nutrient restrictions in a medically vulnerable population or with special attention to food allergens and cross-contamination
Under general supervision, perform a variety of advanced Food Service Worker duties in preparing and serving food and beverages for medically vulnerable populations, or with special attention to food allergens and cross-contamination, and perform clean-up and sanitization activities for food equipment
Perform advanced Food Service Worker duties to prepare and serve food and beverages for medically vulnerable populations, or with special attention to food allergens and cross-contamination Retrieval and processing of food and food preparation/serving equipment with adherence to healthcare-level infection and cross-contamination prevention protocols

REQUIREMENTS

Possession of, or eligible to obtain a Washington State Food Worker Card within two weeks of employment , AND One year of experience preparing and serving food and beverage OR equivalent education/experience

Compensation, Benefits and Position Details

Pay Range Minimum:

$21.77 hourly

Pay Range Maximum:

$26.31 hourly

Other Compensation:

$2,000 sign on bonus
