Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional guest services in a fast-paced environment, whether in a restaurant or nightclub setting. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that guests have an enjoyable dining experience by delivering food and beverages promptly and accurately while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor.
Duties
- Greet and seat guests, presenting menus and providing information about specials or promotions.
- Take food and drink orders accurately using the Aloha POS system.
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely manner, ensuring all orders are correct.
- Handle cash register transactions efficiently, processing payments and providing change as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and timely delivery of meals.
- Address guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism, ensuring satisfaction throughout their visit.
- Assist with food handling and preparation as needed, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Promote menu items and upsell additional products to enhance guest experience.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or nightclub setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong math skills for handling cash register transactions accurately.
- Excellent guest service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
- Knowledge of culinary practices and food handling procedures is beneficial.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the business needs.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn are essential for success in this role.
