Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Meat Cutter and Processor to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our meat products are properly processed and cut for our customers. This position requires hours of standing in below 50-degree rooms.
Duties:
Cutting beef and pork into commercial cuts of meat using very sharp equipment.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the meat preparation area, adhering to food safety guidelines.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operation within the department.
Experience:
Strong time management skills to effectively prioritize tasks in a busy environment.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team whilst also being self-motivated.
Previous butchering experience a plus.
