- Assist with food preparation tasks, including chopping, assembling ingredients, and basic cooking under supervision
- Manage inventory levels by receiving deliveries, organizing stock, and conducting regular stock counts to prevent shortages or overstocking
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable for order processing and transaction handling
- Maintain cleanliness standards by cleaning workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment; ensure compliance with food safety regulations
- Support catering events by preparing ingredients, setting up serving stations, and assisting with meal assembly
- Buss tables, clear dishes, and support host/hostess duties to ensure a positive guest experience
- Handle food handling responsibilities with attention to proper storage, temperature control, and hygiene practices
- Assist delivery drivers with order pickups or deliveries as needed, ensuring timely service
- Follow all safety protocols related to food handling, knife skills, meat cutting, and dietary accommodations
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and maintain a smooth workflow during busy periods
- Previous experience in kitchen support roles or food service environments preferred; familiarity with restaurant or hotel settings is a plus
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and basic cooking skills
- Experience operating POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is desirable
- Prior banquet or catering experience is beneficial but not required
- Strong customer service skills with excellent phone etiquette and guest relations abilities
- Ability to handle food safely and maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
