Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Food and Beverage Manager to lead our hospitality team and elevate the guest experience across our food service operations. Duties
- Lead and supervise all aspects of food and beverage service, including casual dining, fine dining, catering, bar operations, and quick service outlets
- Oversee staff training, development, and performance management to ensure high standards of customer service and food quality
- Manage inventory control, including ordering, stock rotation, and waste reduction to optimize profitability
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain rigorous standards for food handling and sanitation
- Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation
- Coordinate shift management, including scheduling staff coverage to meet business demands while controlling labor costs
- Collaborate with kitchen management to oversee food preparation, culinary standards, and menu development
- Conduct interviews for hiring new team members and participate in ongoing staff training initiatives
- Monitor customer feedback to continuously improve service quality and guest satisfaction
- Maintain a welcoming atmosphere that reflects our commitment to hospitality excellence
Requirements
- Proven management experience in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality environment with supervising responsibilities
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen operations
- Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is essential for daily operations
- Demonstrated ability in inventory control, budgeting, and cost management within the food industry
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on creating memorable guest experiences
- Familiarity with food safety standards and certifications required by local health authorities
- Ability to lead teams effectively through training & development programs and performance evaluations
- Previous experience in casual dining, fine dining, catering or hotel food service environments is highly desirable
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously
