Duties
- Lead and manage all restaurant operations, including food preparation, service delivery, and staff supervision to ensure smooth daily functioning.
- Oversee inventory control, food safety protocols, and kitchen management to maintain high-quality standards and minimize waste.
- Supervise and train staff members across various roles such as servers, cooks, bartenders, and cashiers; conduct performance evaluations and facilitate ongoing development.
- Implement effective shift management strategies to optimize staffing levels during peak hours while controlling labor costs.
- Manage POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing, cash handling, and sales reporting.
- Ensure excellent customer service by addressing guest concerns promptly and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.
- Coordinate with catering, banquet services, or special events to expand restaurant offerings and increase revenue streams.
Skills
- Extensive experience in food industry management with a strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and food handling safety standards.
- Proven leadership skills with supervising experience in quick service & fast food restaurants or fine dining environments.
- Proficiency in POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; adept at cash handling and financial reconciliation.
- Strong knowledge of inventory control practices, food production processes, and kitchen management.
- Excellent team management abilities including staff training & development, interviewing prospective employees, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Deep understanding of hospitality management principles with experience in managing budgets, food safety compliance, and customer service excellence.
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced setting.
