We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. $5.00 plus Tips. As a Server, you will be responsible for creating an enjoyable dining experience for our guests by delivering high-quality service and ensuring their needs are met promptly.
Duties
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner.
- Present menus, take orders, and provide recommendations based on guest preferences.
- Utilize Toast POS system for order entry and payment processing.
- Upsell food and beverage items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales.
- Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables while maintaining proper food handling and sanitation standards.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order preparation and timely service.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations for payments.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including bussing tables and ensuring a tidy environment for guests.
- Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction with their dining experience.
- Assist with opening and closing duties as needed, including setting up or breaking down the dining area.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant roles is preferred, particularly in fine dining or nightclub settings.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
- Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling techniques.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast is advantageous.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods.
- Basic math skills for processing payments and managing cash transactions accurately.
- Culinary experience or kitchen experience is beneficial but not mandatory.
