Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Technician/Welder Fabricator to join our team. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of our facilities. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and welding/fabrication skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing various maintenance tasks, troubleshooting issues, and managing maintenance activities to ensure a safe and efficient environment.
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance on rice processing machinery, conveyors, and related equipment.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, or plumbing issues in a production environment.
- Design and fabricate metal parts, guards, brackets, and equipment modifications as required.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
- 3+ years welding experience.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various systems effectively.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Knowledge of Line Production Equipment is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills with a logical approach to maintenance challenges.
