Duties

Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure consistency and quality.
Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste to optimize profitability.
Supervise kitchen staff by providing training, development opportunities, and ongoing coaching to foster a motivated and skilled team.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards through regular inspections and staff training.
Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation.
Coordinate shift management by scheduling staff efficiently to meet customer demand during peak hours.
Maintain excellent customer service standards by supporting the team in delivering prompt and friendly service.
Lead staff interviewing processes to select qualified candidates who align with our service values.
Implement food production procedures that adhere to quality standards while managing costs within budgetary constraints.
Collaborate with management on budgeting, menu planning, and special event catering to enhance restaurant offerings.

Experience

Proven management experience within a quick service or fast food restaurant environment, preferably with casual dining or fine dining exposure.
Extensive background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations management.
Demonstrated supervisory experience with a focus on staff training & development in hospitality or food service settings.
Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for sales processing and inventory tracking.
Strong understanding of food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and regulatory compliance.
Experience in budgeting, cost control, and inventory management within the food industry.
