Job Description: Full Time Meat Production Associate
Duties:
- Package meat products according to company standards and customer requests
- Have the ability to learn processing equipment i.e. Meat Slicer, Link cutter, Packaging Machine, Grinder and Mixer.
- Willing to learn basic sausage making processes i.e. weighting out seasonings, putting meat trucks into the smokehouses.
- Label packages with accurate product information, including weight, price, and expiration date
- Ensure proper storage and organization of packaged meat products in commercial freezer
-Pull customer orders from freezer
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work area, including equipment and utensils per company standards.
- Follow all safety and hygiene regulations to ensure the quality and freshness of meat products per company standards.
-Have knowledge of cuts of meat to accurately package and label products.
Able to answer phones and check out customers with retail orders.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of proper food handling procedures and sanitation practices
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure accurate packaging and labeling of meat products
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects as needed
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Full Time Meat Production Associate. As a Full Time Meat Production Associate you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and presentation of our meat and sausage products. You will spend up to 25% of your time in the freezer and must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
