About the Role
We are seeking an innovative and motivated Food Regulatory Scientist to join our Technical team. This role focuses on dietary supplement and functional food product development- Regulatory focus, supporting projects from concept through commercialization.
The Food Regulatory Scientist collaborates closely with Sales, Production, Regulatory, and Supply Chain teams to provide regulatory expertise to support custom formulations development, and support new product launches for customers.
Depending on experience and qualifications, the position may be filled at either Regulatory Scientist I or Regulatory Scientist II level.

Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with formulators to build product data packages for raw materials and finished goods
- Handle designated product certifications and regulatory audits
- Maintain and manage SOP program
- Handle customer technical support and regulatory questionnaires
- Evaluate change control requests (cost savings, material shortages, substitutions)
- Support label review and reformulation of products
- Use software (e.g., Genesis) for nutritional/supplement facts
- Assist in product design, scale-up, and regulatory projects assigned by leadership
Requirements
- BS or MS in Food Science or related field (Food/Dietary Supplement regulatory experience preferred)
- Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills
- Analytical and problem-solving ability
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
- Strong integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with Genesis software (preferred)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Effective time management
