Overview
We are seeking an energetic and motivated Store Manager to lead our retail team to success. In this role, you will oversee daily store operations, manage staff, ensure excellent customer experiences, and drive sales growth. Your leadership will be vital in maintaining our commitment to quality, speed of service, and a welcoming atmosphere.
Duties
- Lead and supervise all store activities, ensuring smooth daily operations and high standards of customer service
- Recruit, interview, and onboard new team members while providing ongoing training and development opportunities
- Manage inventory control, stock replenishment, and purchasing to optimize product availability and minimize waste
- Oversee payroll processing, cash handling, bookkeeping, and store financials with accuracy and integrity
- Implement effective merchandising strategies and marketing initiatives to boost sales and enhance store visibility
- Schedule shifts, monitor performance, and motivate staff to achieve individual and team goals
- Maintain compliance with company policies, health & safety regulations, and POS (Point of Sale) system procedures
Qualifications
- Proven management experience in retail or grocery store environments with supervising responsibilities
- Strong skills in negotiation, employee orientation, interviewing, and recruiting
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable for effective communication with diverse teams and customers
- Demonstrated expertise in retail math, sales management, inventory management, pricing strategies, and store merchandising
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Experience with payroll processing, bookkeeping, cash handling, and POS systems
- Exceptional communication skills coupled with leadership qualities that inspire teamwork and excellence
- Previous assistant manager or supervisory experience is preferred; training & development skills are a plus
