Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing attentive and personalized service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable, ensuring efficient order entry and timely delivery
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Serve food and drinks with precision, maintaining high standards of food handling, sanitation, and presentation
- Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction
- Clear tables efficiently by bussing and resetting for new guests while maintaining cleanliness standards in compliance with sanitation guidelines
- Assist with food preparation or kitchen support as needed during busy periods or special events such as nightclub nights or private functions
Experience
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, preferably with fine dining or nightlife venues
- Familiarity with POS system Square for order processing.
- Strong knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and ability to build guest rapport
- Ability to manage multiple tables efficiently through effective time management and organizational skills
- Previous host/hostess or serving experience is highly desirable
- Basic math skills for cash handling, cashiering, and accurate bill splitting
