LONGTREES is reopening in April and we are seeking a dynamic and energetic Restaurant Manager(s) to lead our vibrant dining establishment. In this role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure exceptional customer service, and maintain high standards of food quality and safety. Your leadership will inspire your team to deliver memorable dining experiences while managing all aspects of restaurant management with enthusiasm and precision. Duties
- Supervise daily restaurant operations, including food preparation, service delivery, and cleanliness standards.
- Lead staff training and development to ensure team members excel in food handling, customer service, and safety protocols.
- Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste using systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS.
- Oversee cash handling procedures, ensuring accuracy in transactions and adherence to financial policies.
- Coordinate shift management by scheduling staff efficiently to meet customer demand during peak hours.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of hygiene across the kitchen and dining areas.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints promptly to guarantee a positive dining experience.
- Implement food production processes for casual dining, fine dining, catering, or banquet services as required.
- Monitor food quality and presentation to uphold brand standards and guest satisfaction.
- Conduct staff interviews, supervise hiring processes, and participate in onboarding new team members.
- Oversee kitchen management tasks including food preparation oversight, culinary quality control, and kitchen safety practices.
Experience
- Proven management experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment with a focus on quick service or casual dining settings.
- Extensive background in food service management with hands-on culinary experience preferred.
- Demonstrated supervising experience with a strong emphasis on team management and training & development.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for transaction processing and inventory tracking.
- Experience in managing food safety standards, budgeting, and cost control within the food industry.
- Previous hospitality management experience in hotel or bar settings is advantageous.
- Knowledge of catering, banquet operations, or coffee shop environments such as barista or bar management is a plus.
