Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using Toast, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards
- Entertain and educate customers about Mead and our brand
- Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues swiftly, and ensuring a memorable experience
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities with basic math proficiency
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and assisting with food handling and preparation when needed
Experience
- Previous restaurant experience in a food service environment is preferred
- Demonstrated customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence
- Familiarity with Toast or similar POS systems
- Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while multitasking across serving, bussing, and guest interactions
- Experience in food preparation or kitchen environments is advantageous but not required
- Strong communication skills combined with basic math abilities for accurate cashiering and transaction processing
- Reliability, punctuality and a commitment to teamwork are required
