Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests promptly, presenting menus and providing information about specials or menu items.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all guest requests are met.
- Provide recommendations on food pairings and upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience.
- Deliver orders to tables in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including bussing tables and resetting them for new guests.
- Handle cash register operations, processing payments accurately while adhering to cash handling procedures.
- Address guest inquiries or concerns with professionalism, ensuring a positive dining experience.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and communicate any special requests or dietary restrictions from guests.
Experience
- Previous experience in a server role within fine dining or nightclub settings is preferred but not required.
- Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell menu items effectively.
- Excellent guest relations skills, demonstrating a commitment to hospitality and customer satisfaction.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing cash register operations.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A team player who can assist colleagues as needed to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
