Duties
- Greet guests warmly, present menus, and provide detailed descriptions of dishes and drinks to enhance their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery
- Upsell menu items and specials to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining genuine guest engagement
- Serve food and drinks efficiently, ensuring proper presentation, food safety, and sanitation standards are upheld
- Assist with food handling, preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas to support smooth restaurant operations
- Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and host/hostess team members to coordinate service flow during busy hours in both restaurant and nightclub settings
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment is highly preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS, or Agilysis for order processing and cashiering
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to upsell and promote menu items confidently
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during high-volume shifts
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and billing accurately
- Experience with serving in a fast-paced environment is a plus
