Duties
- Supervise all kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste to optimize costs.
- Oversee food safety protocols in accordance with health regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation practices.
- Lead staff training and development initiatives to enhance culinary skills, customer service, and team performance.
- Coordinate shift management by scheduling staff, assigning duties, and ensuring smooth workflow during busy hours.
- Handle POS systems such as Toast for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation.
- Conduct interviewing and hiring processes to build a talented kitchen team aligned with our service standards.
- Maintain excellent customer service standards by resolving issues promptly and ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Collaborate with management on budgeting, food production planning, and special event catering such as banquets or parties.
Skills
- Extensive experience in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management within quick service or fast food restaurants.
- Proven supervisory experience with staff training, team management, and leadership in hospitality or restaurant settings.
- Strong knowledge of POS systems including Toast for efficient transaction processing.
- Expertise in inventory control, food safety regulations, and food handling procedures to ensure compliance.
- Ability to manage shift schedules effectively while maintaining high standards of customer service and operational efficiency.
- Excellent communication skills for interviewing candidates and training staff members effectively.
