Duties
- Expedite food from the kitchen to tables efficiently while maintaining quality standards and presentation.
- Assist servers by delivering food and beverages promptly, ensuring guests receive attentive service.
- Prepare and assemble dishes according to recipes and safety standards, supporting kitchen operations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, including bussing tables and resetting for new guests.
- Operate POS systems such as TOAST POS accurately for order processing and payments.
- Support food handling procedures to uphold food safety regulations and hygiene standards.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations during busy hours and special events like banquets.
Requirements
- Prior experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of food handling, safety protocols, and proper sanitation practices.
- Ability to communicate clearly with team members and guests in a lively environment.
- Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
- Kitchen or culinary experience including food preparation, cooking, or banquet service is desirable.
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and energetic approach.
