Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Kitchen Manager to lead our culinary team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food service management, with a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences. You will be responsible for overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring food safety standards, and managing staff to maintain high-quality service.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily kitchen operations and ensure smooth workflow in the kitchen.
Manage food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality and consistency.
Implement inventory control measures to minimize waste and ensure stock availability.
Train, supervise, and develop kitchen staff, fostering a positive team environment.
Conduct interviews and assist in hiring new kitchen personnel.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen area.
Manage budgeting and cost control efforts to optimize profitability.
Utilize POS systems (Aloha POS, Micros POS) for cash handling and order processing.
Collaborate with front-of-house management to enhance customer service and dining experience.
Maintain high standards of food production, including catering and banquet services when required.

Skills

Proven experience in kitchen management within quick service, casual dining, or fine dining establishments.
Strong culinary skills with a focus on food preparation, cooking techniques, and food handling practices.
Excellent leadership abilities with experience in team management and staff training & development.
Knowledge of budgeting practices and inventory control systems within the food industry.
Familiarity with hospitality management principles and customer service excellence.
Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Previous experience in restaurant management or supervisory roles is preferred.
