```Job Overview```

We are seeking a reliable and customer-oriented Deli Associate to join our team. As a Deli Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers and ensuring the smooth operation of the deli and Fresh departments. Our Deli Associate sells food, groceries and products to customers, assisting them with production and suggesting alternative product selections. Handles money transactions with customers. Maintains cleanliness and safety of the Deli and kitchen departments. If you have a passion for food and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.

```Duties```

- Prepare and serve a variety of deli products, including sandwiches, salads, and hot foods

- Operate cash register and handle customer transactions accurately

- Assist customers with their deli orders, providing recommendations and answering any questions they may have

- Operates equipment including slicers, scales, packaging equipment, fryers, dish machine and cash registers

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the deli area, including food preparation surfaces, equipment, and utensils

- Monitor inventory levels and restock deli products as needed

- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure the safety of our customers

- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and excellent customer service

- Abiltiy to multi-task and cope well with stress during busy periods

- Receive, stock, and display inventory as needed

- Follow proper procedures for handling and dsposing of food waste

```Qualifications```

- Previous experience in a food service or retail environment helpful but not required

- knowledge of basic math and retail math for cash handling

- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers

- Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing

- Knowledge of culinary techniques and food safety regulations is a plus

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays

- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds

- Must be at least 18 years of age

- Preforms other duties as requested or required

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
