Responsibilities

Lead and supervise restaurant staff, including servers, cooks, and support team members, ensuring smooth shift operations.
Oversee food preparation and presentation to meet quality standards, including managing kitchen and food handling processes.
Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste through effective food management practices.
Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate cash handling and sales processing.
Train new staff members and provide ongoing development opportunities to enhance team skills in food service management and customer care.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations related to food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety protocols.
Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and ensure guests receive outstanding service in both casual dining and fine dining settings.
Oversee budgeting activities, including labor costs, food costs, and overall restaurant expenses to maximize profitability.
Coordinate catering events or banquet services when needed, ensuring seamless execution from setup to service.
Participate in interviewing potential team members to build a motivated and skilled workforce aligned with our hospitality standards.

Requirements

Proven management experience within the food industry or hospitality sector; previous assistant manager or supervisory roles are highly valued.
Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen management.
Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient transaction processing.
Strong background in food safety practices, inventory control, and food handling regulations.
Experience working in quick service & fast food restaurants as well as casual or fine dining environments; banquet or catering experience is a plus.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and develop staff effectively.
Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly approach to guest interactions.
Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail during shift management.
Knowledge of budgeting principles related to restaurant operations; experience with food production costs is advantageous.
Strong communication skills for team coordination and guest engagement across diverse audiences worldwide.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
