Our locally and independently owned restaurant has been located in University Village for over 35 years.

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Food Truck Staff to join our dynamic team. As a vital part of our food truck operation, you will be responsible for safely driving the vehicle and delivering exceptional customer service while preparing and serving delicious food in a fast-paced environment. This role requires a passion for culinary arts, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Safely driving a 27 foot long food truck
Prepare and cook food items according to established recipes and standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the food truck, including food preparation areas and serving stations.
Provide outstanding customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and ensuring a positive dining experience.
Operate the Square POS system for order processing and cash handling.
Assist with upselling menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales.
Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change.
Set up, break down, and mobile kitchen cleaning with high standards and attention to detail.
Adhere to all food handling safety guidelines to ensure quality and safety standards are met.

Experience

Previous driving experience preferred by not required. No special certification needed.
Previous restaurant experience preferred but not required.
Familiarity with Square POS or similar cash register systems is a plus.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
Experience in cash handling and basic financial transactions is beneficial.
Knowledge of food handling practices to ensure compliance with health regulations is essential.

This is an hourly, tipped position.
