Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Patisserie & Bakery Team member to join our vibrant culinary environment. This role involves preparing and serving a variety of baked goods and desserts, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation. Ideal candidates will have a strong interest in the food industry, culinary experience, and a commitment to creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests.

Duties

Prepare a wide range of baked goods, pastries, and desserts with precision and attention to detail
Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for transactions, sales, and order processing
Assist customers with selections, upselling products to enhance sales and customer satisfaction
Handle cashiering duties including cash handling, processing payments accurately, and providing change
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the bakery and café areas
Restock supplies, ingredients, and display cases as needed to ensure product availability
Ensure food safety protocols are followed during all stages of food preparation and service
Support food preparation tasks such as baking, decorating, packaging, and serving baked goods
Assist with bussing tables and maintaining a tidy service environment during busy hours
Manage time effectively to ensure quick service in a fast-paced bakery setting

Qualifications

Previous experience in food preparation, bakery, or food service preferred; experience in quick service or fast-food restaurants is advantageous
Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
Strong skills in food handling, sanitation, and safety standards within the food industry
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to upsell products confidently
Good math skills for cash handling, retail math, and basic calculations related to food service operations
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Kitchen or café experience is desirable; retail math knowledge is beneficial
Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively during busy periods
A positive attitude with a team-oriented mindset focused on delivering exceptional guest experiences

Pay: $20.00 - $50.00 per hour
