Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic FOH General Manager to oversee the operations of our restaurant. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Italian foods, Wines, Liquor, plating, costs, and related food service management, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining high standards. This role requires effective leadership skills to manage staff, control inventory, and ensure a positive dining experience for our guests.

Duties

Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring efficient service and adherence to quality standards.
Manage staff training and development programs to enhance team performance and customer service..
Implement inventory control measures to minimize waste and optimize stock levels.
Utilize POS systems (Micros POS, Spot on) for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
Conduct interviews and hire new staff members while fostering a positive work environment.
Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations, ensuring proper food handling practices.
Develop budgets and manage financial performance to meet operational goals.
Provide leadership in shift management, ensuring smooth transitions between shifts.
Engage with customers to gather feedback and enhance their dining experience.

Qualifications

Proven experience in restaurant management, food service, wines, within the food industry.
Excellent customer service skills with a focus on hospitality management.
Experience in supervising staff and managing teams effectively.
Familiarity with cash handling procedures and financial budgeting.
Ability to train staff in food safety practices and operational procedures.
Previous experience in Italian fine dining establishments is preferred.
Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
EXTENSIVE knowledge of wines, foods, and costs.
Collaborate closely with the Owner, BOH & Executive Chef to maintain food and wine quality and pairings.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
