Overview
We are seeking an energetic and motivated Cafe Manager to lead our vibrant coffee, ice cream and food service team. Duties

Manage all aspects of cafe operations, including food preparation, service delivery, and staff supervision to ensure smooth daily functioning.
Oversee inventory control, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste to optimize profitability.
Supervise and train staff on food handling, customer service, POS systems (such as Aloha POS and Micros POS), and food safety protocols.
Handle cash management duties such as cash handling, balancing registers, and preparing financial reports.
Ensure compliance with health regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness and food safety throughout the establishment.
Coordinate shift schedules, manage staffing levels, and oversee training & development programs for team members.
Lead efforts in customer service excellence by addressing guest concerns promptly and fostering a positive atmosphere that encourages repeat visits.

Skills

Proven experience managing a quick service or fast food restaurant with strong leadership skills in team management and supervising staff.
Extensive knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management within casual dining or cafe environments.
Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient order processing and cash handling.
Strong background in inventory control, food safety standards, and food production processes.
Excellent communication skills with experience in interviewing, training & development, and staff supervision.
Ability to manage shift schedules effectively while maintaining high standards of customer service and operational efficiency.
Familiarity with culinary techniques, catering operations, barista experience, coffee expertise, and hospitality management is highly desirable.
