Job Description: Chef de Cuisine & Operations Manager

We are seeking a rare, multi-talented culinary leader to join our team as a Chef de Cuisine with integrated Operations Oversight. This role is designed for a seasoned professional who is as comfortable masterminding a high-volume line as they are maintaining a second to none guest experience in the dining room.

The ideal candidate possesses a "whole-house" mentality, bridging the gap between back-of-house (BOH) precision and front-of-house (FOH) hospitality. You will be responsible for maintaining culinary excellence while ensuring the "Aloha" spirit of warm, compassionate service is felt by both our staff and our guests.

Key ResponsibilitiesCulinary Leadership (BOH)

Menu Execution: Execute our core menu that blends traditional techniques with bold, regional fusion flavors.
Kitchen Operations: Lead daily prep and service, ensuring every dish meets exacting standards for taste, temperature, and presentation.
Cost Control: Manage food waste, inventory, and labor costs to maintain healthy margins without compromising quality.
Mentorship: Foster a culture of professional growth, accountability, and mutual respect within the kitchen team.

Operational & Hospitality Oversight (FOH)

Unified Guest Experience: Use your GM experience to ensure the transition from the kitchen to the table is seamless, high-energy, and welcoming.
Systems Management: Implement and enforce standardized operating procedures (SOPs), opening/closing checklists, and health/safety protocols.
Service Standards: Train staff on elevated hospitality practices, focusing on community-centered service and proactive problem-solving.

Qualifications

Experience: 10+ years in the food and beverage industry, with at least 3–5 years in a Chef de Cuisine or Executive Chef role, and a proven track record as a General Manager or Assistant GM.
Hospitality Mindset: A deep-seated belief that hospitality is an act of community care. You lead with empathy and maintain a "zero-drama" professional environment.
Leadership: Experience managing a diverse team (20+ employees) with a focus on clear communication and corrective action plans when necessary.
Business Savvy: Proficient in restaurant tech (POS, inventory software and basic word processing skills)
