Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Food Service Team Member to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about the food industry, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. The position involves supporting food preparation, cashiering, and maintaining high standards of sanitation and food safety. This position will be in preparation for our new location in Franklin.

Duties

Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and standards
Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and cashiering
Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations
Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen spaces in compliance with food safety regulations
Assist with food handling, serving, bussing tables, and ensuring a welcoming environment for guests
Support food industry operations including food preparation, stocking supplies, and managing inventory when needed
Uphold proper sanitation practices during all stages of food service to ensure health standards are met

Experience

Previous experience in food service, quick service restaurants, or café environments is highly desirable
Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
Experience in cashiering, food handling, or restaurant operations will be advantageous
Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math applications are required
Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation procedures, and proper serving techniques is preferred
Prior experience in grocery stores or retail environments involving customer interaction can be beneficial

Pay: $12.50 - $13.50 per hour
