Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or TOAST POS, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff
Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
Manage guest needs by answering questions about menu options, dietary restrictions, and beverage pairings
Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while maintaining accountability for all sales
Maintain cleanliness of tables, assist with bussing duties, and ensure the dining area adheres to sanitation standards

Qualifications

Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, preferably with fine dining or nightclub settings
Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, TOAST POS, or OpenTable for order processing and billing
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor
Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Culinary experience or food preparation knowledge is a plus for understanding menu items and ingredients
Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices in the food industry
Previous experience in serving, host/hostess roles, bussing, or food handling is highly desirable
Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends as needed
