Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation standards are met.
Assist with food preparation tasks in the kitchen, maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation.
Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties.
Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximize sales opportunities.
Clear tables, bus tables (bussing), and maintain cleanliness throughout the restaurant to ensure a sanitary environment.
Support food industry best practices by adhering to sanitation, food handling, and safety regulations at all times.
Collaborate with team members to manage busy service periods efficiently through effective time management.
Assist in inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring food safety standards.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest needs promptly and courteously.

Skills

Proven experience in food service, quick service & fast-food restaurants, or café environments is preferred.
Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and cash handling.
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, food safety protocols, and sanitation standards.
Excellent communication skills for serving customers effectively and upselling menu items confidently.
Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately, including retail math concepts when applicable.
Culinary experience or kitchen background is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is essential.
Demonstrated ability to work well within a team with good time management skills.
Knowledge of food industry regulations related to food handling, sanitation, and safety standards is advantageous.
