We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure a high-quality dining experience for our guests. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for the food industry, with experience in both quick service and fine dining environments. This role involves managing staff, maintaining inventory, ensuring food safety standards, and delivering exceptional customer service.
Duties
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring efficiency and quality service.
- Manage staff recruitment, training, and development to foster a skilled team.
- Implement effective inventory control measures to minimize waste and manage costs.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Utilize POS systems (Aloha POS, Micros POS) for cash handling and order processing.
- Develop and manage budgets to optimize profitability while maintaining quality.
- Supervise kitchen management, including food preparation and production processes.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Conduct shift management to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to create menu items that meet customer preferences.
Skills
- Proven experience in restaurant management with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food handling practices.
- Familiarity with various POS systems and cash handling procedures.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Experience in hospitality management, including fine dining, casual dining, or banquet services.
- Strong organizational skills with an emphasis on training & development for staff members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of budgeting and financial management within the restaurant context.
