Leading bottling industry company is seeking a skilled Electro-Mechanical Technician to join their cutting-edge facility! Food Processing Maintenance Technician needed in Manhattan, KS. Selected candidate will be working 3pm-11:30pm, Sunday-Thursday. Position requires occasional travel to Wichita, KS. $25/hr!
Food Processing Maintenance Technician Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain and repair production equipment used for manufacturing products.
- Ensure efficient maintenance and smooth changeovers of equipment, converting raw materials to finished goods seamlessly.
- Stay current on all processing equipment and upgrades.
- Travel between the Manhattan and Wichita locations as needed (reliable transportation required).
- Perform emergency repairs and scheduled maintenance on various machinery.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Maintain motors, pneumatic tools, and conveyor systems using detailed manuals.
- Service auxiliary equipment, such as chillers, heaters, dryers, grinders, and conveyors.
Qualifications:
Food Processing Maintenance Technician Job Qualifications:
- 3-4 years of maintenance experience, preferably in a production or food-grade environment.
- Proficiency in PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers) systems.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to read blueprints, schematics, and manuals.
- Ability to lift and move up to 100lbs.
- Position requires frequent standing, sitting, walking, climbing, and working in confined spaces.
- Experience in one or more of the following is preferred: Industrial Electricity/Electronics, Pumps, Pipe Fitting/Plumbing, Machine Installation and Rigging, Conveyor Systems, HVAC Systems, Building Construction, Shop Safety.
