Duties
- Prepare and assemble food items according to company standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS accurately for transactions including sales, upselling, and cash handling.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders efficiently, and addressing any questions or concerns.
- Manage food safety and sanitation protocols to maintain a clean and safe environment for staff and customers.
- Handle cashier duties including processing payments, giving change, and balancing registers at shift end.
- Assist with food handling tasks such as bussing tables, restocking supplies, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas.
- Support quick service operations by managing time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service.
- Engage in upselling techniques to enhance sales opportunities while promoting menu items.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations and uphold high standards of hospitality.
- Follow all safety procedures related to food handling, sanitation, and equipment use in accordance with health regulations.
- Contribute to a positive team environment by communicating clearly and supporting colleagues as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or retail environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential!
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS is a plus.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, register balancing, and retail math calculations.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude and professional demeanor.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced quick service or fast food restaurant setting.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices is advantageous.
- Experience with food preparation, cashiering, serving, or kitchen work is highly valued.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and perform physical tasks involved in food handling and cleaning duties. Pay: $12.50 - $13.50 per hour
